The Floridian Arms provides bulk trash hauling as a courtesy only when tenants move out. This includes large items such as:
- Furniture
- Mattresses
- Large household items not accepted by the trash company
🚮 Regular household trash must always go inside the dumpsters.
Items left in the alleyway or beside dumpsters are not permitted.
❗ What Is a Violation
Leaving bulk items in the alleyway or outside dumpsters at any time outside of an approved move-out constitutes a violation.
Examples include:
- Furniture left near dumpsters
- Mattresses in the alley
- Household items dumped outside trash containers
💰 Fines
Per the building bylaws:
- $500 fine per violation, charged to the responsible apartment
📸 Resident Assistance & Reward Program
At this time, cameras are not yet installed, and even once installed, identifying the specific apartment responsible may still be difficult.
To help enforce the rules fairly, we are requesting resident assistance.
If you submit clear photos of a bulk trash violation that:
- Clearly shows the trash and
- Identifies the apartment number of the violator
🎁 You will receive a $100 gift card once the violation is confirmed and enforced.
Submissions without an identifiable apartment number cannot be acted on.
This will be very helpful.
